The best design work happens in the messy space between what people say they need and what they actually do.

I've spent the past decade as a product designer and strategist exploring that gap, working across 9 countries and 3 continents on projects ranging from enterprise SaaS platforms to healthcare solutions for rural communities. My background in statistics taught me to interpret data, but field research taught me that numbers only tell half the story.

I work across the full product lifecycle. Sometimes that means uncovering needs that teams didn't know existed. Sometimes it's redesigning systems that have grown too complex. Always, it's about understanding how people actually behave, not how we wish they would.

I've taught design at UC Berkeley Extension and Columbia University, and mentor aspiring designers and founders. When I'm not designing, I might be teaching improvisational partner dance or jamming music with friends. Responding to what's real rather than what you planned turns out to work pretty well in both.
